World Prematurity Day

World Prematurity Day is on the 17th of November, and is a global movement to raise awareness of premature birth and the sometimes devastating impact it can have on families.

For every 13 babies born in the UK, one baby is born premature. Each neonatal experience will affect families differently, but we know how important it is to feel connected with people who have a similar journey.

There are many parts of neonatal care that go unspoken from the overwhelming sounds of the unit to discovering how strong your baby is for the first time. It can make a big difference to read other people's stories.
