Bringing on Labour

Prepare your body for labour!

✔️ Drink raspberry leaf tea from 32 weeks - this helps strengthen your uterus, makes

contractions more effective and can help towards a quick and easier labour

✔️ Eat 6 dates a day from 35 weeks - some research suggests this can encourage your cervix to dilate and open

✔️ Walk more - being upright helps bring baby down on to your cervix

✔️ Acupuncture - some research suggests this can help to naturally induce labour

There are many old wives tales surrounding bringing on labour, as well as things to avoid. Be sure to consult a medical professional on anything you're unsure about.

We learn about the methods above and more during my Hypnobirthing course! Get in touch to find out more.
