Birthing Positions 😀

Did you know that lying flat on your back is not the optimum birthing position for your body and baby?

Your pelvis actually closes by around 30% whilst lying on your back which is by no means optimal for birth!

During my training you'll learn different positions including many being upright, for you to consider and even practice at home if you want too! The important thing is to do something that feels comfortable to you.

Some examples include standing, being on all fours, squatting and sitting. But there are so many more to learn and try at home!

Get in touch and consider taking the course to learn which positions are the best for your body and baby, and which positions reduce pressure when during labour.
